Rolls-Royce RFC triumphed over Cleethorpes Rolls-Royce RFC with a 98-0 win.

This puts them second in the 1XV league and in line for automatic promotion to National League 3 Midlands.

At the beginning of the season, the club set out to secure a promotion for the 1XV team and ensure that the 2XV teams had a greater than 50% win ratio.

Commenting on the team’s success, Chai Uawithya said:

“This is a fantastic achievement, given that it is just two years since the last promotion from Midlands five to the 1XV league. Our second team’s season has not yet finished, however they are currently sitting fourth in their league table and looking strong.

At 73 years young, the club is looking as strong as it ever has, with some planned changes on the horizon, as well as our Tour in Budapest, we are looking forward to the next season.”
